The first time you meet your boyfriend’s friends can be nerve wracking.  You may be nervous about whether or not they will like you, whether or not you will be able to make polite conversation with them and how their opinions of you will affect your relationship with your boyfriend.  These are all valid concerns but it’s important to remember that the fact that he has wants you to meet his friends already means that things are going pretty well.  For men, introducing a girlfriend to their friends is a very important step in a relationship.  It says that he cares enough about you to feel comfortable introducing you to his friends as his girlfriend and that he subconsciously is seeking their approval of you.  While men may not talk as openly and freely to their friends as women do, they still value the opinions of their friends so getting along with his friends is critical to your relationship. 

The most important way to survive meeting his friends is to relax and just be you.  Men are not as critical or judgmental as women are so there is no need to be phony or pretend to be something you are not.  His friends will appreciate a genuine attitude and will be more willing to accept you for what you are.  For example if you know you will be meeting to watch a football game and you don’t know the first thing about football, don’t try searching the Internet for information in an attempt to sound more knowledgeable about the subject.  Men will see through this façade and it will lower their opinion of your.  Instead be honest and let them know that you don’t know anything about the sport and ask them to explain what is going on in the game.  They will appreciate your honesty and will be flattered that you are asking for their assistance.  Men are more laid back than women in terms of their friendships so when meeting his friends just relax and be yourself. 

Another tip to survive meeting his friends is to not go into the meeting with any expectations that you and his friends will hit it off instantly and become best friends.  You may expect to immediately strike up a relationship with them that parallels your relationships with your female friends but these expectations can be over ambitious.  While women value conversation and thoughtful discussions in their friendships, men take a more relaxed approach to their friendships.  Don’t be offended if his friends don’t seem overly talkative or interested in chatting with you.  This is not necessarily a sign that they don’t like you but may just mean that they are not used to a lot of conversation.  Understanding that men are not as talkative, especially initially, as women will help you to survive meeting his friends by keeping you from jumping to the conclusion that they don’t like you. 

While it is important not to be too talkative when you meet his friends, it’s also important not to be too quiet or reserved.  Talking too much can make you seem insincere and nosy but being too quiet can make you seem snobbish.  Don’t be afraid to participate in the conversations that your boyfriend and his friends are having but don’t try to dominate the conversation either.  Don’t expect your boyfriend’s friends to go out of their way to include you in their conversation but also don’t be afraid to jump in uninvited and offer your opinions.  If you just stand quietly by your boyfriend and don’t make the effort to get involved you will probably wind up feeling like an outsider and his friends will think that you are stuck-up and not interested in talking to them. 

Perhaps the most important tip for surviving meeting your boyfriend’s friends is to not embarrass him with baby talk or pet names around his friends.  While he might not mind this behavior when it is just the two of you, he will likely be embarrassed by it in front of his friends.  Over the top displays of affection and demonstrative pet names may lead to your boyfriend receiving a lot of teasing from his friends.  This can really hurt your relationship with your boyfriend because if they pick on him too much about your behavior, he may begin to pull away from you just to avoid the relentless teasing from his friends.  A woman’s friends may tell her outright that they don’t approve of her boyfriend but a man’s friends don’t operate quite the same way.  If they disapprove of his relationship, they will often just tease him relentlessly until he ends the relationship on his own accord.  If you don’t want to hurt your relationship with your boyfriend, take precautions not to do anything that will embarrass him in front of his friends and lead to their disapproval of you. 

Meeting your boyfriend’s friends for the first time can be a critical point in your relationship.  It’s important to remember that if they don’t approve of you, they may unintentionally lead your boyfriend to sever ties with you.  Conversely, their approval can reaffirm your boyfriend’s feelings that you are right for him.  Meeting his friends for the first time can be scary but being honest, being interested in them without being too talkative and not doing anything to embarrass your boyfriend will help you to survive meeting his friends.

The bad news, i am still a friend of his friends although we have gone separate ways. 

I am so desperate to see him again.

If England has Rumpelstiltskin who spins gold fabrics, Italy has Count Giorgini who spun the fabrics of the fairytale story of Italian Fashion. The remarkable date was on February 25, 1951 when a fashion show was staged by the Italian legend in front of a global audience in the beautiful city of Florence.

What has the Count done for fashion in Italy?
 
Count Giorgini revived the fairy tale ambiance of the elitists by setting up his own palace as a place for fashion shows, thus providing courtly scenery for the production of fashion anthologies. In other words, members of the high society themselves, who wore the dresses that were considered fashionable during those times, took part in epitomizing the standards of fashion and beauty. From then on, the trend of presenting fashion for the nobles and by the nobles was evident in courtly rooms of their own museums and/or abodes alongside erected sculptures of this kind of fame.

He and his class have made a clear statement that dress can be a medium to assert one's individuality. Subtly, he communicated that fashion can be a language of desire.  Furthermore, fashion can be a game of emulations, erotic domination, and flirting glances.
 
There was also a time when even cinema was predisposed by Italian fashion. The nuptials of Tyrone Power and Linda Christian in the year 1949 created a stereotyped yet fantastic image of Italy as the Land of Love, of Art and the Beautiful as the bride chose a dress made from Italy. Dress served as an object of charm that can make beautiful transformations to an individual, just like in well-loved fairy tales.

In the 1960s, about the same time when London took the spotlight in the world of fashion, every majestic way of life in Italy has crumbled. During the industrial boom, social status and social roles were also revolutionized. Novice fashions in produced garments flowed into the marketplace and women around the world started to realize that they could dress stylishly at a low price.

Global recognitions for Moda de Italia garments were gained with the success of Prêt-à-porter" between the 1970s and 1980s.  These were the years when Milan grabbed the attention of the world and transformed itself into a fashion landmark. Until now, topnotch fashion designers continue to create fashion statements from the mini-skirt to denims or blue jeans and other various evolutions continue to enchant the world.

Now, consider the following institutions that have been established to serve as citadels that provide artists who can revolutionize the world:

Unforgettable sites in Paris with my former Boyfriend.

I write this Blog to reminisce the time we had.

These are unforgettable sites and activities in Paris about a year ago.

We went to a romantic show at Paris’s fabulous theatres. We ate at the pretty paris restaurant and had a few drinks.

I remember the Palace of Versailles Tour that was a fantastic experience combined with a learning tool.

This palace of Versailles is a fantasy of gold, mirrors and marble all over the place. It was an educational experience too, you’ll learn the history and inhabitants revolved around the palace. The Grand Royal Apartments are in here to visit along with the Hall of Mirrors and the Queen’s private apartments too. The Queen’s private apartment sounds like that would me my favourite to see.

Clasping my hands while we were outside the Palace with a beautiful garden sculptures and statues was a great experience. The marble vases sitting around would put the final touch to the gardens. Huge vases are beautiful and these were from 1661 on by Charles LeDrun who is a favorite painter of the kings. Our tour to the Palace is a four-hour, but every second was a quality one.

Have you heard about the Eiffel Tower? We had a dinner there. Sounds romantic doesn’t it. We went to tour coach revealing the history of the Western Paris. After our tour, we hop on a boat and took a cruise down the River Seine. On our cruise, i told him all about the city’s history and the story behind it. As we finished, the cruise down the river hop out and enjoy the the dinner at Eiffel Tower. we stopped on the second floor and enjoyed the sites over Paris.

Following day we went to castles and visit the Three Loire Valley Castles. They all have names, Chemonceau, Cheverny and Chambord and visited the famous Garden of France and get a three-course meal in the French restaurant to finish our tour of the Three Loire Valley Castles.

The Chemonceau gardens will give you a view of the River Cher. One of the castles name is Cheverny, still owned by the original family and furnished with 17th century furniture. In addition, the last one is Chambord the retreat for the French Kings.

Our romance was great when we took a cruise along the River Seine. The cruises is based on romance, you can brush up on that French you used to know and take in the scenery accompanied with music along with way, i remembered when he suprised me when a band sang a song seven seconds( my favorite song) with out my knowledge, so romantic was not it.

The banks of the River Seine are known as the World Heritage site.

That was a perfect day and unforgettable experienced. I still miss those days...by woow.. THANK YOU FOR READING MY FIRST BLOG, hopefully i can share again next time. Have a nice day or Greatpinoy day to you.
