Pork Giniling
1 medium onion, finely-sliced . 1 tbsp olive oil . 4 medium raw potatoes, finely-cubed . * fresh ground pepper . 1 whole carrot,finely-cubed. 1 lb ground pork . 5 garlic cloves, minced . 1/2 red bell pepper, finely-sliced . 1 1/2 tbsps patis or salt 1/2 tsp achiote powder (optional) (atsuete red color)
Directions
Step #1 In a large pan, saute onion & garlic in oil. Step #2 Add pork & brown, making sure to separate ground pork thoroughly. Step #3 Add patis, cover & let simmer over med-heat/flame for 10 mins. Step #4 Peel & chop the potatoes into small 1/4 inch cubes. Step #5 Soak sliced potatoes In a large-ish water bath to wash off excess starch. Step #6 Drain & add potatoes,carrot & red bell pepper to pan. Step #7 Mix & cook for another 10 mins. Step #8 Add pepper to taste.

You know what, I have never used mince pork before. I've only ever used beef or lamb mince. I'll have to give this recipe a go, thanks!
