So many of the best and brightest go abroad to work and to help their families.

It helps a lot economically.  But the OFW's should give back, and not just money.  Often, these are the most educated and energetic pinoys.  If possible, find a way to give back home.  It can be teaching someone or contributing in ways besides sending back money!
