Like lightning out of nowhere, Usain Bolt is now the world’s fastest man.
The Jamaican sprinter, who doesn’t even consider the 100m his best race, set the world record with a time of 9.72 seconds at the Reebok Grand Prix on May 31st, 2008 .02 seconds faster than the old record held by his countryman, Asafa Powell.

I guess with more and more people on this planet every day it's only a matter of time until every record out there gets broken. I'm always impressed by those guys that do well in the Olympics but never even practiced running with a good pair of shoes.
