Dear Santa,
Hi. This is Joanna. You probably don't remember me because I stopped believing in you when I was like five. And it's kinda hard to believe you when everyone at the Philippines doesn't have a chimney. So I didn't know where you would go through. So sorry if I never wrote to you. Or left you cookies on Christmas Eve.
Anyways, I'm writing this letter because I'm finally old enough to believe again. Or maybe not believe, but like "pretend" to believe. Because you know, it's kinda fun to write to an imaginary person who'll answer your Christmas list if you're nice you know? And I've been pretty nice this year. And so I think that you deserve to answer my wish list.
Well, today I just realized that I really don't want anything. I mean, someone was asking me what I wanted and of course, my answer was "Nothing." And for once I'm not lying. Instead I want non-material things.
I want my mommy and daddy to stop stressing about money and their problems anymore. I want to be closer to God. I want to be a better daughter, a better sister and a better person. I want to stop blaming people. I want to be a better dancer. I want to be a better singer. I want everyone to stop hurting anymore. I want people to stop crying anymore. I want to help people more.
So in conclusion Santa, I want all of these. You probably won't answer most of them, and that's ok. Because I don't think any one person can just give me all of these. But anyways, yeah. This is my Christmas wish list. Hopefully you'll read it and answer at least one. That'll be enough for me.
