Korean Way - Know Your Enemy

I was once in the meeting with our client to discuss one of our construction projects for bidding. Our client, a known Korean firm has been performing very well everywhere in the world. One of the Korean guy asked me to give information regarding data of their competitors who invited us to bid on the same projects they are bidding. I did not give any information to him. except the name of their competitors. I told him that collecting important data from others and pass it to competitors is unethical and unprofessional in any way. The guy just got smiled and told me, “well.. that’s the Korean way… know your enemy..”
