On Car Parking and Buying Online
Posted On 08/15/2008 16:56:01 by blozoom

I read the news today oh boy…

…and I learned exactly three things.

  1. Be careful with my parking stay at Magallanes Village parking area.
  2. Never leave my laptop inside the car and go dining.
  3. Finally, be very careful on buying online. Most specially high valued items like laptop.

The news is, NBI nabbed a man, now a suspect, for selling a stolen laptop. The laptop was stolen from a lawyer after his Ford Everest parked at Magallanes Village (where I frequent) Makati City. The robber broke the glass of his vehicle to get the Toshiba laptop computer valued P80,000. Honestly, no lower than 3 times, I didn’t bring my laptop with me few times I dined in the area. For that matter, never leave valuable items. Doesn’t matter if it’s quick park or overnight parking, you have to bring with items of value.

The lawyer dug online or perhaps he was looking for a replacement laptop. He found same laptop notebook with same specs posted at TipidPC. (Did I mention, I recently got at laptop via TIPIDPC) Anyways, that’s lesson number three. Be careful with online transaction. Most specially if the item for sale looks so good and priced so low. The Toshiba posted was only P16500.00. Already red flagged right there. NBI conducted an entrapment. It was found, that indeed, it’s owned by the victim.
